“hospitel“: The name says it all
wissner-bosserhoff presents its new bed series
The name of the new programme family from Wissner-Bosserhoff combines the terms hospital and hotel: “hospitel”. The beds of the “hospitel” series meet the requirements, functionally and ergonomically, of long term care and rehabilitation. With their design, they add a cosy atmosphere to the furnishings of geriatric and rehabilitation wards. In addition, they are recommended for furnishing non-statutory rooms, hospices and palliative wards, as well as for plastic surgery.
Depending on specific requirements, you can choose between four different models of the “hospitel” series. The “movita hospitel” bed combines functional elements with cost effectiveness in nursing care. A further variant, with the “estetica hospitel” version, is based on lifting column technology, tried and tested over hundred thousand times in practise. With its low lying height of 25 cm, the “sentida hospitel” reduces the danger of falls for the resident.
All four models provide, with just one press of the button, automatic functions for positional adjustment, for example for the cardiac chair position and for bedsore prevention. An easily accessible one hand CPR ensures the emergency lowering of the backrest in case of a power failure. Divided, “zero gap” side guards encourage self-mobilisation while providing safety and protection.
In addition, the foldable head and foot sections allow nursing staff rapid access to the patient in case of emergency. Horizontal and vertical wall stopper castors protect the bed during transfer. Side panels with side protectors protect it from damage when patient lifters or similar accessories are used.
The “BiNetic” frame, the patient surface of the Wissner-Bosserhoff “hospitel” beds, was developed on the basis of research in anthropometrics. The four-part “BiNetic” frame includes the double retraction of backrest and thigh rest, as well as the patient surface extension to 220 cm that can be operated with just one hand movement.
For patients, the wide range of adjustment options for comfort and therapy create the optimal conditions to heal during their admission and for the nursing staff, prerequisites that relieve strain on them. At the same time, the adjustments allow nursing staff to work ergonomically, which is good for their health and allows them to work more efficiently.
So that they can be adapted to the respective architectural surroundings, various designs of an extended colour concept with single-colour decors and handrails in the “Silverline” model are available for the “hospitel” beds. With the cosy, comfortable and multi-functional fittings of the beds, Wissner-Bosserhoff is setting trends in the new movement towards the so-called “healing environment”, combining design and health.
