Economical aspects, operational analyses and demands for increases in efficiency are the order of the day in nursing care institutions. With the latera thema, we have a solution: A nursing home bed which makes everyday nursing work considerably easier through a 15° lateral tilting function. Even adipose patients can be safely and comfortably mobilised, positioned and cared for. This reduces painful friction forces during positioning, bed ingress and egress is easier. Furthermore, it has been shown that autonomy and mobilisation are clearly stimulated. All components make an important contribution to a faster recovery process.
